Scheduled Classroom Tours, Personal Campus Tours, and All-School Open-House
Parents who are interested in submitting an application for their child are asked to attend a classroom tour. Monthly classroom tours, for parents only, take you into the classrooms while they are in session. The tour includes a visit to the Kindergarten, several Lower School classes, and a High School class. The Classroom Tour generally takes place on the second Thursday of each month, October through May, 9:30 - 11:30 am. Tours begin in the Festival Hall on the Lower School campus.
Personal tours may be arranged for out-of-state visitors and for those who cannot attend a regularly scheduled Classroom Tour. Please call the Admissions Office at 303-444-7697 for details.
We hold All School Open Houses twice a year. Teachers are present, student work is displayed, and tours are given. Special events are held for the High School and Kindergarten to offer parents more insight. Parents and their children are invited to attend.
In addition, throughout the year numerous educational lectures, festivals, student concerts, and plays are open to the public as an enjoyable way for parents and children to experience the breadth and depth of Shining Mountain’s program. Check our calendar for dates and times. If you would like to be on our public events mailing list, please call the Admissions Office at 303-444-7697.
Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom.
