Monthly Tours for Parents Interested in Waldorf Education, preK-12. Adults only, please.
Our monthly tours begin with a presentation and discussion about Waldorf Education. We will visit a few classrooms, including the Kindergarten, grade school and middle school. The tour ends with a discussion lead by a High School Faculty member and two of our High School Honors students. Our School Tours are held the second Thursday of every month, (excluding the month of April) and begin in the Community House which is located just across the street from the lower school parking lot.

Open Houses
Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 9:30–11:00: Early Childhood Education and Parent-Child Program
9:30 – 10:30: Kindergarten Experiential Morning
10:30 – 11:00: Early Childhood Education and Parent-Child Program Open House
(Both events will begin in the Kindergarten classrooms and are open to parents and children. The Kindergarten Experiential Morning will begin promptly at 9:30am and the doors will be closed once the experience begins.)

High School Student Shadowing
Students currently in grades 8-10 are invited to spend a day experiencing our high school. Reservations are required.

Saturday, October 27th 3:00pm – 7:00pm: Halloween Wonder Walk
A magical experience for our youngest students. This experience is for Early Childhood, 1st and 2nd grade students.
Saturday, December 1st 9:00am – 4:00pm: King Winter Celebration & Holiday Bazaar
Celebrate the winter season in style. Activities include: Waldorf craft rooms, magical scenes, a King Winter celebration, Kindergarten puppet shows, food, games and more.
The Holiday Bazaar takes place in our Festival Hall providing a venue for many local artisans to display their wares for holiday shopping.
Saturday, May 4th TIME TBD: Circus Performance
The Circus program at SMWS is a well-loved extracurricular activity for middle school students. The semester long program culminates in a a public performance that you won’t want to miss!
